my first taggy blanket and some inspired tags...

ooooo, my first taggy blanket, with a soft minkie backing, complete with my new Pearliebird garment tags, for sweet baby luxey!! i plan on making more, maybe put some in Pearliebirds!??

when i was at freddy's, yesterday, i saw some awesome dinnerware, designed with blackish grey postal designs and bold watercolor flowers!! i sketched it out, on my grocery list, before i left the store, came home and made my version onto gift tags!! ahhh, a use for all those floral stamps i bought years ago and the postage themed stamps!!

i love doing these mosaic photos with the flickr toys!

the first mosaic is of jasi's 21st birthday last june! she wanted decor in red and turquoise! everything was so cute! i made a garland with 21 new dollar bills (hard to find new bills in the summer!), doilies and cupcake liners and also a garland of doilies and dyed coffee filters. we made several sizes of tissue pom poms too...really festive!

new pearlie's pretties!! four beautiful sets of white on white, soft pastel, luxe butterfly tags, sewn with fabulous gold metallic thread...my new addiction! also, a set of 6 super cute, vintage country style, fabric heart applique tags topped with a fun spray of colored ribbon and a jute hang tie!

hanging out by the wood stove, working on some fun unique tags today, watching the wild so. ore. weather!! the house is nice a quiet today!!
